Stopped by the local lake on my way home and threw the club as far as I could. My sister said she never heard from him again. I ended up seeing him in the paper a few years later, he was arrested for armed robbery and got like 7 years in prison. He made the paper again when he somehow escaped from the jail for a few days.

The godfather full movie. Well, sitting back and watching objectively as I could, I saw The Godfather for the first time last night.
I thought that since there is so much reference to this movie in comedy, drama, satire etc, that there must be some substance.
Sadly not really. How this movie got to the top of the 250 is a mystery I'll never understand. Even Citizen Kane is a better view than this item.
Perhaps this film was groundbreaking in its day, but frankly, Marlon Brando was laughable (as usual) the characters were stereotypical (though I guess they are the model for a generation of stereotypes that came after) and the story unremarkable. Kind of like the Thorn Birds meets Married To The Mob.
That said, the film was OK. I gave it 7/10, but it got an extra point or two for having influenced so many other movies.
Give me the Sopranos any day.

So almost everybody in the room want Vito's politicians and judges to push their drugs easily. Vito knows once he uses his influence for a dirty business as drugs, there is no going back, his reputation would get ruined. But for profit, Barzini and Tattaglia don't give a shit, they want to exploit Vito's influence. So now on Barzini's insisting for this 'co-operation' on drug business, Vito knows it wasn't only Tattaglia or Solozzo demanding his support for drugs, Don Barzini was the mastermind behind this demand.

So many have tried to follow it - so few succeeded.
Fantastic stuff. Deserves to be where it is in cinema history.
